For Attendees

Vines of Freedom is a wine-tasting, auction event and fundraiser exclusively aiming to support the work being done by non-profit Reset180. Since 2010, Reset180 has been on the ground working directly with victims of human trafficking in the D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia area. Based in Reston, V.A., Reset180 works to support human trafficking victims, help restore their lives, and raise awareness to surrounding communities of this pervasive issue through education and outreach. Northern Virginia faces a hidden yet massive crime and safety issue: human trafficking. The region’s location near major transportation hubs, including Dulles and Reagan International Airports, as well as interstate highways and railways, facilitates the easy movement of traffickers and their victims.

Reset180’s wrap-around case management program provides trauma-informed medical care, therapy, legal representation, housing needs and financial assistance while walking with clients into the next phase of their lives. A monthly donation of $100 provides basic household needs for one survivor and $250 will supply her with groceries for 2 weeks. $1000 monthly will cover housing costs for a survivor and her children. And $2000 per month enables Reset180 to cover supportive care for 2 survivors.

At our cocktail-attire event, you can expect hors d'oeuvres, a 90-minute curated wine tasting followed by an introduction of Reset180 and, of course, the auction. Auction items include rare, highly unique wines in large format bottles, as well as meals at wineries represented at the event. Tickets are $150 per person. All money raised from ticket sales, auctions and donations from the Vines of Freedom evening directly supports Reset180.
